Repreve Appears on How It's Made

Repreve is made with 100% recycled fiber—and manufactured like no other recycled yarn in the world. Our process is so unique, the Discovery Channel featured it on an episode of How It's Made.

Saving Energy and Resources

Repreve conserves resources because it offsets the need to use newly refined crude oil. Oil refining is a complex industrial process that turns crude oil into a multitude of petroleum-based products. Some of these products are then made into ingredients that go into synthetic fibers.

For every 1 LB. of Repreve polyester yarn, 50,000 BTU's*** are conserved, the equivalent of .4 gallons of gasoline.

***BTU is British Thermal Units
Better For The Planet
Repreve recycled yarn offsets the need to use new crude oil to produce virgin polyester and nylon.
Making The News
