Repreve staple fiber is produced specifically for Unifi, to our specifications, using a process we developed. Our raw materials and fiber are tracked from the extruder all the way through fiber production, with a Unifi representative on-site to audit the manufacturing process. And to ensure the highest quality, Repreve staple fiber is produced on equipment specifically designed to produce textile-grade fibers.

Like Repreve filament yarns, Repreve staple fibers are always made from 100% recycled materials. And to meet our customers' needs, Repreve staple fibers are available as a hybrid blend, a unique combination of post-consumer and post-industrial fiber waste. Repreve is also available as a 100% post-consumer waste (PET) fiber. Either way, Repreve ensures a reprieve for the planet.

Certified for Recycled Content Claims

Certified for Recycled Content Claims Repreve products are certified by Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) for recycled content claims. Every year, Scientific Certification Systems performs a full examination of our recycled products, including our recycling processes, production records, and manufacturing operations. SCS is a leading third-party certifier and standards developer of environmental and sustainability claims.

* Our goal is to have all products certified for recycled content claims. However, as we continue to evolve our recycled product offering, some of our newer products may be under evaluation by a third party. All certification numbers are for 2011 audited products.
